Amy moved to Richmond in 1999 from Colorado and has devoted much of her time to supporting our community by partnering with various local and national organizations. She spent several years in charge of memberships and events for the Capital One LGBT Network, serves on the Supplier Diversity Council mentoring minority-owned small business owners, and enjoyed several years as an active Board member for Richmond Community Corps. She also began her own non-profit called Everyday Heroes several years ago whose mission is to raise money for the non-profit community. Amy is very honored to bring her experiences, energy and perspective to the Board of Virginia Pride. She enjoys socializing with friends, taking off on spontaneous road trips, and passing the day with her small retriever, Milo.
Justin – Secretary

Justin is a life-long resident of Richmond, VA and very familiar with the community, sometimes being referred to as the gay “Mayor of Richmond”. He graduated from VCU with a Masters in Business and is very active at his church, Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. He now works as a consulting engineer with an IT company and keeps busy in his spare time reading and hanging out with friends. Justin brings a lot of ideas and inspiration to the Board with his seemingly boundless energy. He serves on the executive committee as well as assuming the role of the Director of Pridefest, leading the management of the Commonwealth’s largest Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride celebrations.

Audrey
Audrey was born and raised in Richmond, VA, graduating from Freeman High School and going on to attend Concord College. She has been an active participant in the community, working for a time with Babes of Carytown and as a freelance DJ under the name DJ KidSlik. Audrey was also VA Pride’s first Ms. Gay Pride Virginia! Audrey enjoys all types of music, dancing, shooting pool, spending time with her family, playing with her black cat, Joey, watching “Ghost Hunters”, laughing, good people and good times. Her passion for community involvement, hard work and thoughtful approach to organizing community events has proven very valuable to the VA Pride Organization.
John - Treasurer
Director of Programs
John was raised in Prince George County and has been a long time Richmonder, moving to the city in 1992 after graduating from Radford University in 1991. He went on to attend and graduate from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2001. John has been an IT professional for a major Fortune 500 financial services company (Capital One) and has always had a strong belief in volunteerism. John has not only spent many years as a dedicated volunteer for the VA Pride Organization, he has volunteered with ROSMY, Equality VA, the Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanity, and the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree. John also served on the board of SAARA, advocating for better availability of resources and assistance for those struggling with alcohol and substance abuse. His vast experience in the business and non-profit community will continue to benefit VA pride and the greater LGBT community. In his free time, John enjoys running, skiing, white water rafting, travel, movies, and spending time with friends and family!
Bobby
Bobby grew up in Spotsylvania County, Virginia and relocated to Richmond in 2001. He received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees, in Business Administration, from Strayer University. Bobby serves as a Process Engineer at Capital One Financial where he has been employed since 1996. He served as Capital One’s LGBT network lead for approximately 1 year before a temporary, work-related move to Dallas, TX in 2009. Bobby’s volunteerism includes ROSMY, The Central Virginia Food Bank, Equality Virginia, Habitat for Humanity, Junior Achievement, and the Salvation Army to name a few. Since returning to Richmond in 2010, Bobby has resumed his community involvement and is the most recent addition to the Virginia Pride Board of Directors. Bobby has significant experience in business management, education, communications, and process improvement. In his spare time, he enjoys bowling, camping, travelling, photography, and spending time with family and friends.
